The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash at Yamanto last night, October 18.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 9.10pm, a white 2021 Great Wall Steed was travelling west along the Cunningham Highway near the Boonah Road exit when it collided with a cement pillar.

The driver and only occupant, a 57-year-old Raceview man, was declared deceased at the scene.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant vision is urged to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
