A Woodford fatal crash on Archer Street involved a white Isuzu D-Max utility and an orange Toyota Corolla at about 6:10 am on Tuesday, 5 May 2026. The Corolla’s 60-year-old driver died at the scene. An initial Queensland Police report said the utility had been reported stolen and its male driver allegedly left the scene on foot. Crash Circumstances
Queensland Police said the Isuzu D-Max and Toyota Corolla collided head-on. Police alleged the utility had been stolen from a McLoughlin Road address in Morayfield at about 3:45 am and that its driver left the crash scene before being located at a nearby educational facility. Police Investigation
The Caboolture Criminal Investigation Branch investigated the crash. In its 6 May update, Queensland Police said a 31-year-old Ellen Grove man had been charged with one count each of manslaughter, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, failing to remain at an incident, disqualified driving and drug driving, as well as two counts of trespass. Police said he was due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 6 May 2026. The cited sources do not provide a later court outcome.

Community Impact
7NEWS reported that Ms Scott worked at Woodford Manor Aged Care and had spent more than 20 years caring for others. The service said her loss was deeply felt by colleagues, residents and families. Floral tributes were also placed at the crash site.
