The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in Upper Caboolture this afternoon, June 7.
Initial investigations indicate that just before 2.30pm, a vehicle crashed into a tree in the vicinity of Caboolture River Road.
The driver of the vehicle, a woman, was declared deceased at the scene.
A young child was transported to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash and appealing to anyone who may have seen the vehicle, witnessed the incident, or may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
