A 19-year-old man has died following a fatal two vehicle crash in Woombye this morning, March 21.

Initial investigations indicate at 8am, a car and motorbike collided at the intersection of Diddillibah Road and Nambour Connection Road in Woombye.

The motorbike rider, a 19-year-old Buderim man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 79-year-old Woombye woman, was not physically injured.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision from the area to come forward.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
