A woman has died following a fatal single-vehicle traffic crash near Julia Creek yesterday.

Initial investigations indicate the woman was travelling south along Wills Development Road through Taldora around 5.50pm when her vehicle rolled.

The 40-year-old Julia Creek woman was declared deceased at the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or the moments leading up to it to come forward.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
