The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating following a fatal single vehicle crash at Canoona, north of Rockhampton today, September 11.

Initial investigations indicate that around 10am, a blue 2010 Holden Commodore was travelling northbound on the Bruce Highway before it left the roadway, crashed into trees and rolled.

A 25-year-old Yandina man, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was declared deceased at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the incident and is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the vehicle, incident or may have relevant dashcam/CCTV vision to come forward.
