Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash on Goodwood Road in Abington, near Childers, on Tuesday May 23.
Initial investigations indicate around 5.30am, an armoured van and sedan were travelling in opposite directions before they collided.
The occupants of the sedan were the driver, a 17-year-old boy, and his two passengers, a 17-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl.
The driver and the female passenger of the sedan were both airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.
The17-year-old Bundaberg girl has since passed away in hospital on May 24.
The driver of the van, a 49-year-old man, and his passenger, a 25-year-old woman, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations into the circumstances of the crash are continuing.
