The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal single motorcycle crash in Boogan this afternoon, January 14.

Initial investigations indicate at around 3pm, a motorcycle was travelling southbound on the Bruce Highway near Mourilyan when it lost control and crashed.

The rider and sole occupant, a 20-year-old man, was declared deceased on scene.

Investigations are ongoing.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have CCTV or dashcam vision that may assist with investigations are urged to come forward.
