The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash in Tamrookum this morning, October 19.

Initial investigations indicate a black motorcycle and a white Isuzu truck crashed at the intersection of Kooralbyn Road and Mount Lindesay Highway around 8.55am.

The 73-year-old male motorcycle rider died at the scene.

The 67-year-old male truck driver sustained minor injuries.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations remain ongoing.

Any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV vision is urged to contact police.
