Crash Overview: The fatal accident occurred around 6 am on April 18th on the Warrego Highway at Drillham, northwest of Toowoomba. Two Holden Colorado utes collided head-on, resulting in the tragic deaths of Kellie Holland, a 41-year-old mother of three, and Jack Holt, a 25-year-old man.

Kellie Holland was remembered as a “dearly loved mother,” “cherished” grandmother, and “loving daughter,” while Jack Holt was described by friends as a “loveable larrikin” with a kind and humorous nature. The 49-year-old driver of one of the vehicles, along with a 33-year-old passenger, sustained serious injuries and were airlifted to Brisbane hospitals.

He faces additional charges for driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, driving while his license was suspended, and driving a defective vehicle.
