The Dandenong North crash caused significant traffic disruptions, with all citybound lanes of the Monash Freeway closed between the exit to EastLink and Wellington Road. Commuters experienced delays of over an hour during the morning peak. The road was fully reopened around 1 pm after the scene was cleared.
