Introduction: A five-vehicle collision on the M1 Pacific Motorway at Berowra, north of Sydney, caused significant disruptions to traffic on Monday evening. Two people were hospitalized as a result of the crash, and the motorway remained closed for several hours.

Crash Overview: The accident occurred around 6:05 pm at Berowra, approximately 30 kilometers north of Sydney. Five vehicles were involved in the collision, the details of which are still under investigation. A man driving a blue sedan was airlifted to the hospital in serious condition, while a woman driving a black sedan was treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital in stable condition. Both drivers will undergo mandatory testing, and no other injuries were reported.

Traffic Disruptions and Road Closure: The M1 Pacific Motorway was closed northbound at the crash site, with traffic diverted at Ku-Ring-Gai Chase Road. One lane was also closed southbound, causing further delays. Police established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
