Police are seeking public assistance to locate the driver of a grey 2021 Renault Master van involved in a single vehicle traffic crash last Thursday, October 6.
Initial investigations indicate the van was seen driving erratically northbound on the M1/Pacific Motorway before it crashed near the Exit 41 off ramp in Yatala around 4.25pm.
The passenger, a 32-year-old West End man, suffered serious injuries before being taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The driver, an unknown man, failed to remain at the scene of the crash and fled on foot.
Investigators are appealing for the driver, or anyone with information regarding his identity to come forward. Anonymous reports can be made.
Police are also appealing for motorists in the area to provide dashcam capturing the van’s movements, before and after the crash along the M1/Pacific Motorway northbound, including near the Exit 41 off ramp.
