Police are appealing for dashcam footage to assist with investigations into a serious traffic crash at Zillmere on Brisbane’s northside last night, December 9.

Initial investigations indicate a 16-year-old boy was struck by a dark coloured SUV on Hodgson Street around 6pm.

The SUV and its occupants then fled the scene.

The boy was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Gateway Child Protection Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Anyone travelling along the road at that time with dashcam vision or information that may assist investigations is asked to contact police.
